Pathway 2007 - Planning for the Future

Pathway 2007 is a cooperative effort to envision and implement a shared future for Lake Tahoe. The Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA), the USDA Forest Service-Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit (LTBMU), the Lahontan Regional Water Quality Control Board and Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) are each revising their respective long-range plans.

This effort will succeed due to agency commitment and public participation. During the revision of each respective plan, the public is engaged at varying levels. Public participation is a critical component to the success of this effort and by sharing the ideas, issues and concerns most pertinent to them, they help share the vision for Lake Tahoe's future.

Nevada Tahoe Partnership has several active key decision-makers who currently participate in Pathway 2007 committees. The Partnership is an avenue for two-way communication and participation. By becoming active in the Partnership, you will be able to help affect decision-making activities for the region.
